Barclays customers are facing a third consecutive day of payment and transaction issues as the bank continues to grapple with ongoing technical problems.
The outage, which began on Friday, left customers struggling with mobile and online banking, as well as making essential payments. While the bank has not disclosed the cause of the disruption or the number of people affected, it is not believed to be the result of a cyber attack.
Barclays, one of the UK’s largest banks, serves more than 20 million retail customers across the country.
