Drivers are urged to take care on Hunthill Road and Bardykes Road, Blantyre during evenings as street lights are still out.
Storm Éowyn brought down street lighting cables, taking out several of the street lights along the end of Hunthill Road near the school, across Broompark Road junction and down part of Bardykes Road near the Barnhill Tavern.
Combined with a narrowing of the carriageway at this location, it makes for some careful driving. The fault has been reported to authorities following several messages of concern received in the last week.
