Monday Weather: Cold with Snow Showers Expected

It’s been cold of late, temperatures hovering around zero, but mid week should see temperatures once again start to climb. Meantime, tonight (Sunday into Monday) will be cold and it will soon become cloudy. As the night progresses, outbreaks of light snow could develop!

Monday

A cloudy and cold day tomorrow. Snow for some areas including Central Scotland even at low levels during the morning, falling heavy at times. The snow eases in the afternoon, turning largely dry but it will likely resume by the evening. Breezy.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday

Tuesday will be generally breezy and cloudy with wintry precipitation turning to rain through the morning, this tending to ease in the afternoon. Mild and breezy with variable cloud on Wednesday. A mainly dry day, but chance of a few spots of light rain edging in from the west later. Turning windy, overcast and wet overnight into Thursday. Temperatures starting to rise on Wednesday, even becoming mild for the time of year.
