We’ve had a few messages this week asking for more info about the forthcoming Glasgow auditions for Disney’s ‘Greatest Showman’ stage show.
Admittedly, this is a fantastic opportunity if you’re a singer or dancer. After the success of the movie, ‘The Greatest Showman’ is set to be turned into a big budget new stage show and auditions are being held all over the UK including nearby in Glasgow and Edinburgh!
Disney Theatrical Group is conducting a nationwide search for exceptional singers/actors, and strong contemporary dancers for the new big budget Disney production of The Greatest Showman.
Glasgow will host auditions on Saturday 12th April 2025 with registration open for both singers and dancers here: https://www.disneyonstage.co.uk/auditions The following day, auditions will be held in Edinburgh.
A registration system has been set up for all auditions. If you do not have a pre-booked slot, you will not be able to audition on the day. Please bring a CV and headshot with you that includes your contact details. You must be 18 or older and eligible to work in the UK.
Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis; you will receive a follow-up email with a confirmation, including the venue (city centre location) and times. Please be prepared to wait. You must have a confirmation to be seen.
We’re really looking forward to this and possibly seeing local people singing and dancing performing hits such as ‘This is me’, ‘A Million dreams’ and ‘Rewrite the stars’.
The Disney brand will ensure this will be a big production, due to open first at Bristol Hippodrome in early 2026, and expected to tour around the UK thereafter.
