A fantastic Music Festival is being organised to take place in the grounds of the David Livingstone Birthplace, just off Station Road, Blantyre this summer.
On Saturday, 23rd August 2025, David Livingstone Birthplace are hosting an unforgettable Summer Music Festival for the whole community.
A spokesperson added in yesterday’s announcement, “We will showcase local bands with live music, and an exciting talent show to celebrate our budding young performers.”

(We have some personal experience in organising summer music events in Blantyre during the last decade or so, including several at this particular venue, so if staff want to get in touch, we’d be happy making suggestions, and providing tips and advice regarding all aspects of such an outdoor event).
