It’s noticeably less warm today than of late with some hazy sunny spells in amongst the cloud. This afternoon, some scattered showers could develop, good news for gardeners. However, the sunshine is to return shortly, with a fine, dry and settled week inbound.
Tonight
Into the evening, showers will clear, leaving the night dry with clear spells. Some areas of low cloud, mist and fog will drift in from the east in places though.
Tuesday
Tomorrow, any early mist and fog will soon clear leaving a dry and largely sunny day. Just a few patches of cloud developing in the afternoon. Slightly warmer than today.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday
Wednesday will be dry with plenty of sunshine throughout the day. Staying dry on Thursday too, with some areas of cloud to start, but these clearing away to leave late sunshine for all. Friday looks to continue dry, with sunny spells and just the odd area of cloud around. Temperatures drifting closer to seasonal average.
Some more significant showers and rain is expected from Friday onwards, marking the end of this warm, dry spell and suffice to say, ‘normal service will then resume’ with May showers and cooler temperatures.
