We have been contacted by several parents and carers of children who attend Family Tree Childcare on Broompark Road, Blantyre. The business closed their doors suddenly last week, the news coming as a shock to both staff and parents. Parents were told it would not be re-opening.
At the end of the shift on Thursday, staff were told that the business would be closing with immediate effect, leaving parents immediately concerned and scrambling to organise their childcare arrangements. We’re trying to find out more, but understand from one source at this time, it could be connected to a council fee error, which left the business little choice.
