Another update about the Rice and Spice shop in Hamilton. The landlord has been in touch.
He told Blantyre Telegraph this week, “Rice and Spice and the shop will reopen bigger, better and fully refurbished on 1st July 2025 under new ownership….. but with even better products and choices but also very similar or same items too!”
The new owner is highly highly experienced in the field and very well respected and he will be a huge asset to the local community. He already from his Glasgow base, supplies several local Hamilton takeaways with fresh meats and is regarded as one of the best in Scotland. Exciting times ahead! Let’s support and welcome FARZAND ALI from July.
The shop is currently internally going through a thorough refurbishment and once done, then the exterior of the building shall also be renovated.
