A plume of very warm weather is set to arrive in the UK this week, peaking in Scotland on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Amidst sunny, blue skies, temperatures will rise in Central Scotland on Friday and Saturday to around 25 degrees, with similar temperatures on Sunday. Before then, some showers are expected as temperatures start to rise.
