It’s been SO warm today. The Met office has suggested 28 degrees in Central Scotland today, but some outdoor weather stations in Blantyre has recorded 30 degrees! Tonight, it is expected to stay dry with lengthy clear spells, sunshine and just a few areas of cloud around. A very warm night ahead again.
Saturday
Then we do it all again tomorrow! Saturday morning will remain dry with long spells of sunshine. In the afternoon, it should become partly cloudy with the chance of scattered showers, some thundery. A little less warm as temperatures start to cool off later in the day.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday
But make the most of Friday and Saturday! A very different day is coming on Sunday. Unsettled, cooler, and breezy on Sunday, with variable cloud and showers drifting in from the west, often very heavy. The showers will tend to become more isolated overnight. Monday is expected to remain breezy with mostly cloudy skies and a few patches of light rain or drizzle.
For now though, enjoy the sunshine!
