Awards Day Honours at Auchinraith

What better way to end the term with a celebration of achievement, accomplishment and effort!

There were many awards and celebrations today, Wednesday 25th June at St Andrews Church, Blantyre as the Primary 7 pupils from Auchinraith Primary School moved on to a new chapter in their lives.

St Andrew’s Church was absolutely full as parents, carers and friends of Auchinraith gathered to say a fond farewell to the Primary 7 pupils at the end of another school year. Children celebrated a special person in their life; someone who supported them in their quest for success and of course a special mention goes to everybody who received one of the beautiful awards, some of which were kindly and generously donated. Thank you to all parents /carers.

Wishing all the pupils success and happiness for the future . Remember to cherish every moment!

  1. I have attended several awards at Auchinraith and they are truly superb and emotional. Kids moving on to bigger and greater things. Teachers and staff losing their wards of some six or seven years. Cheers and tears.
Terribly disappointed I could not be there this year to see another new award being made to a very nice girl, Lillie Crawford. She is the first recipient of THE ALICE SIMM VALUES AWARD, sponsored by my brother Hugh and myself. So happy Hugh was able to attend.
Lillie has exhibited the 7 school values:
    Honesty
    Friendship
    Hard Work,
    Respect
    Responsibility
    Kindness and
    Resilience.
Well done Lillie! I am told she will be at Auchinraith for another year.
