Now that midsummer has passed (21st June), did you know evenings in the UK are starting to get darker earlier? While summer vibes are still strong, the shift towards it becoming darker is presently very subtle — and there’s no escaping.
Each evening, we’re now losing around 1 minute and 45 seconds of daylight. That means by next week, sunset will be about 12 minutes earlier than it is today — and the trend continues until Winter.
Although it’s gradual, in a month or two you may start to notice light changing affecting your evening routines. It’s a gentle reminder that the long summer nights are here to be enjoyed for now.
