Talented local businessman Bobby McKean has today publicly announced his retirement by stepping back from the Country shop on Glasgow Road, Blantyre.
Handing over the reins to others, Bobby is well known in Blantyre. From his humble beginnings with a fish van at the top of Calder Street, to moving into the shop at Glasgow Road and helping grow Flowers by Isabel and the Country Shop, Bobby has many other accomplishments to his name over the years. A stalwart in community matters, Bobby also has personal associations with Thistle Credit Union, Community Links and St Andrews Church. We would like to wish Bobby (and his wife Rose Ann) the very best in their next chapter, which hopefully will be more relaxing!
