Drop in collection available this weekend at St Joseph’s Parish Church!
Following a fantastic response to St Joseph’s uniform recycling appeal, they have been able to fulfil numerous requests on behalf of SVdP and local primary schools already. Further to that, they’re pleased to advise that there are still many items of uniform available for St Blane’s, St Joseph’s as well as St John Ogilvie.
Collection from St Joseph’s hall on a no appointment/drop in basis available this weekend at the following times:
Saturday: 11am-12pm, 5pm – 6.30pm
Sunday 9am – 1pm
(Please note times subject to change so please check this post for most recent update). Of course all requests will be met with full discretion and sensitivity.
Anything leftover will be held in reserve for requests later in the year or given to the schools.
A spokesperson for St Joseph’s told us, “Our thanks go to all who generously donated as well as the hard-working volunteers who have helped make the project a success.”
“A special thanks goes to Rosie & Jacqueline at local business Laundered Ltd . When the project was launched, they reached out to offer their services in washing, drying and folding all items completely free of charge. They’ve been hard at work over the last week or so to ensure the many loads were returned and their assistance was invaluable. Thank you”
