A HUGE milestone for Blantyre Soccer academy on their 15 year journey for community grassroots football.
Following the recent renovation of the Larkfield Community Hall, it was wonderful to see the first sod being cut on for the bran new community football pitches on the former Dixons Pit 4 site. An opening ceremony took place on the Bing just off Stonefield Road to mark the occasion.
Well done to all the Blantyre Soccer Academy organisers, volunteers, special guests and contractors involved. This promises to be something very special right in the heart of Blantyre.
