Construction work has now started on building a new car park at the rear of the West End.
NISA Local started work on the new car park for their new supermarket. Accessed from Bardykes Road, the new carpark will first involve the demolition of the existing, redundant beer garden. Speaking to Blantyre Telegraph earlier this evening, NISA told us, “It will also include direct entrance from the car park straight into the shop, saving people from walking around.”
“We know many people have been wondering about the parking arrangements, so we’re pleased to share that there will be a sizeable carpark with 16 dedicated parking bays for customers — making it safer and more convenient to visit.”
