Fire crews have been once again called to a blaze at a private restaurant in the South Lanarkshire town of Bothwell.
This time it was ‘Nel & Co’ on Bothwell’s Main Street which was the scene of fire after the alarm was raised just before 12.30 in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 22nd October.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson added, “We were alerted at 12.28am on Wednesday, 22 October to reports of a building fire on Main Street, Bothwell. “Operations Control mobilised three appliances and a high reach vehicle to the scene, where crews worked to extinguish the fire.”There were no reported casualties.”
This comes after another restaurant ‘Cut’ was set on fire last month. Police are treating the fire as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.
