Here’s a story of kindness winning after an initial, horrible theft.
Some readers of our Live Chat group may remember a local woman posting about her boys BMX bike being stolen outside B&M Blantyre. A horrible theft which left a child distraught and a family angry and disgusted.
Unfortunately the bike never did turn back up and the family thought ‘Santa’ would have to go to the expense of buying a new one.
Well, this week….. Santa actually messaged the family completely out of the blue to say he had a bike that would be perfect for him, and he absolutely refused to take any money for it! This Santa turned out to be Ryan at ‘The Bike Shed Lanarkshire’ who came to the rescue.
Today, there’s one very happy boy who can cycle to school again like he always loved to do.
The family commented, “We can’t thank Ryan enough for this – and as always I’d highly recommend contacting him for any repairs you need doing to your bikes. He looked after my boy’s bike for years and will be doing the same for this new one too. Nothing is ever a bother to him AND he picks up/drops your bike off to your home, so it’s super easy. We’ll be making a donation to The Wee Mobile Foodbank as Ryan is refusing to take any payment for this bike.”
Well done Ryan. You’re a star!
