The company behind eight well known holiday parks in the West of Scotland has gone into administration.
Cove Communities Venture 2 Argyle Opco Ltd run flagship parks Drimsynie Estate in Lochgoilhead, Hunters Quay Holiday Village in Dunoon and Loch Lomond Holiday Park as well as 5 others.
Administrators Alvarez & Marsal Europe have been called in and issued a statement adding that day-to-day operations would continue as normal until it could source a buyer.
The other 5 holiday parks are Loch Awe Holiday Park, Loch Eck Caravan Park, Loch Eck Country Lodges, St Catherines Caravan Park and Stratheck Holiday Park.
It’s thought as many as 250 people are employed at these parks.
