Have a word with yourself Glasgow City Council! Patients attending the Beatson Cancer Clinic in Glasgow have been getting charged for parking on a street outside the hospital.
With nowhere near enough spaces, patients have been forced to park on nearby Shelley Road but wardens have been quick to pounce, slapping parking fines on all the cars, well aware even when told by patients they’re attending hospital!
They added: “Parking restrictions are in place for Shelley Road as part of the public roads network and we have received complaints in relation to parking behaviour on this street.
“This parking has been affecting access to and from the hospital while pavement parking has raised road safety concerns for pedestrians. Where breaches of the parking regulations are identified, enforcement action will be taken.”
C’mon GCC, do the right thing and either forget about charges if patients can prove they were at hospital or at least find a solution for this!

Come on GlasgowCC pl find a workable solution for these patients pl?
