England have landed World Cup kick-off times that fall neatly into UK viewing hours — but Scotland supporters will need to brace for some late nights next summer.
All three of England’s group fixtures take place in the United States, with their opening games against Croatia on 17 June and Ghana on 23 June both kicking off at 21:00 BST. Their final group match, against Panama on 27 June, starts even later at 22:00.
Scotland’s schedule is far less viewer-friendly. Their Group C opener against Haiti on 14 June at Boston’s Gillette Stadium is set for a 02:00 start. Steve Clarke’s men then face Morocco in Massachusetts on 19 June and Brazil in Miami on 24 June, with both matches beginning at 23:00.
