Festive Fun Weekend at David Livingstone Centre

Families are being invited to get into the Christmas spirit with a packed weekend of festive fun at the David Livingstone Centre, taking place on Saturday 13 December and Sunday 14 December.

The celebrations kick off on Saturday 13 December with ticketed children’s craft sessions, priced at £8.50 per child. Young visitors will enjoy a magical experience, including a special visit from Mrs Claus and her helper Elfie, festive crafts, Christmas biscuit decorating, and the chance to write and post a letter to Santa. Sessions run from 10:30am–12pm and 1pm–2:30pm, with limited spaces available, so early booking is advised.

The festive atmosphere continues on Sunday 14 December with a free-entry Christmas market, open from 12pm to 4pm. Visitors can browse festive crafts and goods from local sellers, enjoy seasonal food and drink, take part in a Christmas raffle and tombola, and even join a jewellery-making workshop. A Christmas choir around the firepitwill add to the seasonal charm, making it a perfect afternoon for all ages.

With activities for children, unique gifts to discover, and plenty of festive cheer, the David Livingstone Centre is shaping up to be a must-visit destination this Christmas season.

🎅✨ Will you be heading along to enjoy the festive fun?
