Scottish Comedian Stanley Baxter has sadly passed away aged 99.
Stanley Livingstone Baxter (born 24 May 1926 – died 12 December 2025) was a Scottish actor, comedian, impressionist and author. Baxter began his career as a child actor on BBC Scotland and later became known for his British television comedy shows The Stanley Baxter Show, The Stanley Baxter Picture Show, The Stanley Baxter Series and Mr Majeika.
Baxter also had written a number of books based on Glasgow.
