Pavements for Pedestrians will be widened and roads narrowed as Glasgow shifts towards ‘People First Zones’ in 2026.
Work will commence in Queen Street and Ingram Street in February to make areas more comfortable for pedestrians, including more street furniture, trees and safer, more frequent crossing points.
For retailers , existing loading bays will be retained.
