Weather Outlook, Lanarkshire

Boxing day afternoon will be cold and dry. Cloud will continue to break up through the afternoon, leaving some brighter breaks, especially towards the west.

Tonight will be cold, dry and settled. Largely clear skies, with just the odd patchy cloud around.

Saturday

Tomorrow will be another dry, settled day. Cloudy in the morning. A few sunny breaks will develop in the afternoon, with cloud breaking more extensively in the evening, as lengthy clear spells emerge.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday

Sunday will turn slightly chillier with areas of low cloud moving in from the east, but there will be sunny intervals in the west. Patchy fog is likely to linger in places through the day. A cold night will follow. A similar day is expected on Monday, with variable cloud and hill fog, but still sunny breaks at times. Tuesday looks to remain dry but become increasingly bright.
