We were deeply saddned to hear of the passing of local, well known butcher Dan Rodger.
In a statement online, D&J Rodger Butchers of Main Street, HIgh Blantyre posted, “It is with great sadness we would like to let all our loyal customers know of the passing of Big Dan . He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday 22nd January 2026. Jean would like to thank everyone for their kindness and condolences.”
