A distrubing incident at Auchinraith Road, Blantyre has prompted a police investigation.
Officers are appealing for more information following a disturbance which resulted in assault on Sunday, 1st February. The incident happened between midnight and 12.25am at Craig Street, at the junction with Auchinraith Road.
Both suspects are described as men. One is said to be around 6ft tall, of slim build, and was wearing a grey hooded top. The other is described as around 6ft tall and of medium build.
The pair made off along Craig Street after the incident.
Constable Jack Morton said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone with information, or dash-cam footage that could assist our enquiries to come forward. “Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 0031 of 1 February, 2026.”
