It’s been the warmest day of the year today in Scotland in England! A blamy 18.7 degrees celcius in London and here in Blantyre temperatures up to 11. In fact at 8pm tonight it was still in double digits. A big change from previous weeks. So what’s in store tonight?
Continuing cloudy, mild and breezy tonight with further scattered showers. Patchy mist and fog will persist over areas of higher ground.
Scattered showers tomorrow on Thursday morning will transition to spells of steadier rain by the afternoon. By the end of the day, the rain will become patchier and ease for many.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday
On Friday morning, there will be variable cloud and a few isolated showers. In the afternoon, a band of more organised showers will push in from the north-west. Behind it, clear skies will develop overnight into Saturday morning, although it may turn cloudier again in the afternoon. Sunday is expected to become cloudy, windy, milder and wet, with outbreaks of rain.
