Despite the weather, some families and friends in Blantyre came together yesterday to support mental health awareness.
On Saturday 28th March 2026, the group walked from the public park to June Stewart Hall at High Blantyre for tea, their efforts all in memory of local man, Jay McAdams.
With them were other individuals who had lost loved ones due to mental health issues. It was a touching tribute with a great turnout. We’ve been informed to keep our eyes peeled for some local mental health hubs becoming available soon for anybody to speak out and get support where its needed.
Well done to everybody involved!
