Weather – Storm Dave is coming

After some early brightness, it will soon turn cloudy today, Saturday 4th April with some patchy rain developing, wintry on the higher hills. Later on this afternoon, the rain will turn heavy as winds become very strong with gales.

Saturdy evening will continue very windy with heavy spells of rain. These will clear into the night leaving it dry with clear spells, but winds will increase further, becoming stormy with damaging gusts.

Tomorrow (Sunday) will see a dry and bright start, with winds easing somewhat. In the afternoon, areas of cloud and scattered showers will again push in from the west, and winds will increase again. Chillier.

Not a great weekend to be out this Easter!

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday

Easing winds by Monday morning which will see plenty of sunshine and a few areas of passing cloud through the day. Tuesday will be milder and largely sunny but breezy under brisk southerly winds. Cloudier with the chance of some scattered showers in the evening. Wednesday should then be dry with variable cloud and sunny spells.
