It’s safe to say support for this page has grown hugely in recent years attracting an audience from other nearby towns. With just as many people from Hamilton following the page as from Blantyre, we’ve also been hearing about stories in other adjacent places. But sometimes not so great stories.
Like for example, when Divitos in Hamilton were robbed of their staff tip jar earlier this week. A disgusting theft when a cowardly low life grabbed the staff tips and made off, prompting an ongoing police search.
We dislike theft of any sort, but especially when its done with such low morals, denying hard working staff of their money. Money given from the kindness of customers.
We’re more than just a news service. So, tonight, we popped over to Hamilton on a surprise visit “o’er the border” and handed in £60 to the staff to cover their loss. A little geature but the girls were most delighted and appreciative (thanks for the chips!).

If the lowlife is caught, I just hope the court gives more than a slap on the thieving wrist.
