We were saddned to hear of the passing of David Morrison, who was known and respected locally throughout his life.
David was a familiar face in Blantyre and will be fondly remembered by many for his presence, kindness, and lifelong connection to the community he called home. He was a person supported at Hunthill Road, where he was well known and cared for, and his passing is deeply felt by family, friends, neighbours, staff and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
David’s funeral service will take place at 1.30pm on Tuesday 20th May at St Andrew’s Church, Blantyre, followed by burial at 2.30pm at Priestfield Cemetery, High Blantyre.
A celebration of David’s life will follow at 3.30pm at the Miners Welfare Club, Blantyre. All who knew David and wish to pay their respects are warmly invited to attend. Our thoughts are with everybody who knew him.
