A wooden walkway has appeared on Queen Street as Glasgow continues its pursuit to ban cars and vans from the city centre.
Glasgow is becoming more pedestrianised with 18 month trial rules introduced on when vehicles can enter the heart of the city.
As can be seen from this artists impression, plans are also underway to introduce many new trees on Glasgow Streets to make the city more green. This planting task commences in Queen Street and Ingram Street next month and includes stone planters thought to be easy to maintain.
Have your say. Is banning vehicles in the city centre a good idea?

broader pavements, trees, etc lead to way narrower streets via less cars too and are to be applauded & encoraged to spread slowing down all traffic in town👍🏻
