Attention dog owners! There’s a fantastic canine event coming to Blantyre in mid June!
Dogg’s Day Out is a fun packed event just for your pooch taking place at David Livingstone Birthplace! Here is the official itinerary and schedule for Saturday June 13th!
There will be plenty of space for everyone with different food stalls for your precious pups! There will also be seating areas for those who prefer to watch.
Doggy’s Day Out – Event Timetable
Saturday June 13th, 2026
11:00 am – Event Start
12 pm – Costume Exhibition – Best Dressed
12:30 pm – Trick Exhibition – Best Trick
1 pm – Dog Category Competition
(Most Like Owner, Waggiest Tail, Golden Oldie, Sassiest Dog, & Best Child Handler)
1:30 pm – Behavior Modification Specialist – Talk and Demo
2 pm – Veterinarian Specialist – Talk: How to check your dog’s health at home
2:30 pm – Award Ceremony + Raffle and Tombola Prizes
3 pm – Event End
Please note:
– ALL dogs must be on a lead for the duration of the event for everyone’s safety and wellbeing.
– Everyone must register for the competitions upon arrival at the event.
