The Army Cadet Force in Central Scotland is giving young people both male and female the chance to learn new skills, build confidence and take part in exciting activities that challenge and inspire.
From fieldcraft and first aid to leadership training, sports, music, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, real life SQA qualifications, opportunities and adventurous outdoor pursuits, Army Cadets offers experiences that help young people develop valuable life skills while having fun.
Cadets learn teamwork, responsibility and resilience in a supportive environment, making lifelong friends along the way. Whether you’re interested in outdoor adventure, helping your community, or simply trying something different, there’s something for everyone.
The organisation starts at 7pm and finishes at 9:30pm on Monday and Wednesdays.
Location: Bothwell Road, Hamilton (at gate in front of Spice)
The organisation welcomes young people from all backgrounds and provides opportunities to grow in confidence, develop leadership abilities and achieve recognised qualifications. You can even go to camps all over the UK.
