This was the disgusting mess volunteers were met with at Blantyre Volunteer Group, Calder Street, Blantyre.
An absolute idiot, obviously devoid of any morals or care for the community smashed windows on one of the charity buses at Blantyre Volunteer Group last weekend.
Whilst most of the country were in high spirits this weekend celebrating all that’s good, at least one person felt the need to slope into darkness of causing problems for a charity for absolutely no reason.
The community is highly reliant on these buses which often are used to help children and elderly organisations in and around the town. The drivers even giving up their spare time for no reward or recognition to help. People may not realise the impact this type of horrible destruction has on the community. Buses out of service, a bill to repair, trips and outings unable to go ahead.
Let’s face it, it’s stupidity of the highest order and would not like to think anybody from Blantyre is capable of this.
