Congratulations to Blantyre couple, Robin and Grace Wright on their recent Diamond Wedding Anniversary!
The couple from Priory Bridge are pictured at home with their son and daughter. With them is Sandy Wilkie as DL, with Provost Elect Bert Thompson who both presented a card from the King & Queen plus certificates from the Lanarkshire Lieutenancy and SLC.
Also following Sandy’s compulsory retirement on reaching 75, is the new DL, Abdul Majid MBE who takes over from Sandy after all his dedicated years.
