Brewers Fayre have announced they will close all their restaurants in the UK this year, following a restructure of its owner Whitbread, which also owns Beefeater restaurants.
All 89 UK restaurants will close on 7th September, the end of an era.
Owner Whitbread, will also close all their Beefeater venues on 10th September. The plans are part of a five-year overhaul plan to save £250 million by Whitbread, which has faced cost pressures from business rates and national insurance contributions and increasing pressure on the hospitality industry.
