Giorgia has spent her youth developing her skills with Blantyre Celtic Community FC, and all those hours of training, matches, hard work and dedication have now resulted in a fantastic opportunity at Celtic. Her signing has also been announced by Youth Football Scotland.
It’s a brilliant achievement for Giorgia and another proud moment for grassroots football here in Blantyre. Blantyre Celtic have a thriving girls’ section across several age groups, providing young players with opportunities to learn, develop and enjoy the game.
For any young footballer dreaming of where the game might one day take them, Giorgia’s achievement is a great example of what can come from talent, determination and good grassroots coaching.
