Weekend Weather Outlook

There’s plenty of sunshine on the way across Lanarkshire this weekend, although some patches of stubborn cloud will drift through from time to time. It will remain dry and settled, but temperatures will feel on the cool side in a light north-westerly breeze.

Tonight: Saturday night into Sunday will stay largely dry with long clear spells mixed with occasional cloud. Mist and fog could form over higher ground during the early hours, with temperatures turning chilly in some places.

Sunday: A similar picture tomorrow with a mixture of sunny intervals and cloud. There’s a small chance of an isolated light shower, but most places should remain dry. Winds will be light and variable, generally coming from the west.

Monday to Wednesday: Any early mist or fog on Monday should quickly clear, making way for plenty of sunshine. Some patchy cloud may develop later, but conditions should remain dry.

Tuesday and Wednesday will bring a mixture of sunshine and cloud, with an increased chance of a few light showers. Temperatures are also expected to gradually rise as winds turn south-easterly. ☀️
