Following planning permission granted in February, work is progressing on the new fast food outlet ‘Chick-fil-a’ in Hamilton.
Located in the Hamilton Palace Retail park, contractors have recently been installing signs and working on the internal fit out. The restaurant will be at Unit C, Palace Grounds Retail Park, Palace Grounds Road, Hamilton ML3 6AD, taking over the former KFC drive-thru.
Chick-fil-A is a major American fast-food restaurant chain best known for chicken sandwiches.
The business formally confirmed the Hamilton restaurant in July. It will be particularly notable because it is planned as the company’s first UK drive-thru restaurant, with seating for around 66–68 customers and approximately 90 full- and part-time jobs expected.
Although no opening date has been announced yet, it’s nearing closer. Chick-fil-A is currently advertising specifically for Team Members and Kitchen Team Members offering full- and part-time positions on the indeed jobs website.
