Looking for something to do today? Little ones, aged 1–6, can celebrate Fairy Day at New Lanark World Heritage Site on Saturday 26th September by joining in with magical storytelling, craft making and a fun fairy door scavenger hunt!
Join in at Clearburn Park for a gentle and magical way to celebrate Fairy Day at New Lanark.
This relaxed outdoor session is designed especially for younger children aged 1–6. It’s a chance to slow down, enjoy the fresh air, and let little imaginations take the lead in a safe and welcoming setting.
What to expect
Each session includes a mix of simple, engaging activities:
• A short fairy story with Corra
• Making a fairy door to take home
• A scavenger hunt through the park to find hidden fairy doors and uncover a secret message
Children are welcome to come dressed as fairies if they like. Wings, wands and a bit of sparkle are always welcome, but not essential.
Midday to 2pm. £6 per child / Adults attend free (max 2 per child)
