A well-known Hamilton landmark, The Avonbridge Hotel on Carlisle Road has been undergoing a major transformation and has revealed a stunning new exterior.
The popular hotel, which first opened in 1973, was recently sold after more than 50 years of ownership by the Martalo family, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the business.
Work is progressing on the significant refurbishment programme, including improvements to the hotel’s restaurant, bar, entrance and conservatory areas. The redesigned interiors will feature walnut finishes, brass detailing, warm lighting and bespoke features, creating a fresh, contemporary look.
The renovation project began earlier this year, with further improvements planned across the hotel’s rooms and facilities.
This week, the stunning lit exterior is revealed. For generations, the Avonbridge has been a familiar venue for weddings, celebrations, meals and family gatherings across Lanarkshire. It’s encouraging to see investment being made in one of Hamilton’s established hospitality venues, and we’re looking forward to seeing the whole completed, finished transformation!
