A familiar face at Blantyre’s TACT Hall is hanging up his keys for the final time! Congratulations to Davie Scott, who has retired after an incredible 40 years working for South Lanarkshire Council.
Davie has been the caretaker at the TACT Hall since the day it opened, becoming a well-known and much-loved face to the many people and community groups who have used the Hall over the years.
With countless happy memories and friendships made along the way, Davie leaves behind a wonderful legacy of dedication to our local community.
Having also celebrated his 68th birthday this week, it’s certainly a double celebration!
👏 From everyone at Blantyre Telegraph, we wish Davie a very happy, healthy and well-deserved retirement. Enjoy putting your feet up, Davie!
