Glasgow Kiltwalk 2026

Over 6,000 attendees kicked off the Glasgow Kiltwalk 2026, walking from Clydebank to Balloch to support charity. With participants primarily from Blantyre, the event continues today, April 26th. Although cooler, the weather remains favorable for this important fundraising initiative. Best of luck to all participants!

Daniel’s Ball – Successful Fundraiser

The Blantyre community has shown tremendous support for Daniel Dixon over six years, culminating in a successful fundraiser that raised £21,030. Special thanks were given to organizers Andy and Leanne Rankin, numerous local businesses, photographers, host Lewis Wilson, and Daniel’s mother, Debbie, for their contributions and efforts.

Support Blantyre Boys 2009s Charity Event

The Blantyre Boys 2009s Youth Football Team is organizing a charity evening in collaboration with Tam Cowan on May 14th.
