£70 to replace the broken black chains in High Blantyre Cemetery.
£100 to little Sophie, a local lass who unexpectedly had a stroke (now much better!)
£50 Treats for local lassie Kristie Taylor after she raised money for Little Princess Trust
£50 treat for Erin Brown, local lassie as special birthday boost
£100 to WDRC for buying plywood to help renovate their wooden tank
£200 to High Blantyre Primary for their P7 leavers party
£30 to local lassie Amy Williamson to help start up her own wee business.
£60 Gifts to local nursery for outdoor play equipment
£100 cinema tickets to local children
£100 rewards for bravery and effort
£110 books to care homes
£115 prizes for loads of events and venues within the Blantyre community and
£80 towards various elderly residents to have discounted meals in local cafes.
£300 sponsorship of Calderside Academy Football School strips

  1. £50.00 cash donation to Just Giving for Blantyre’s McMillan Family as friends and family raise money following the passing of their child. June 23
  2. £50.00 cash donation to Aiden Rowan (22) who is skydiving for Butterfly Trust to raise money to help people with cystic fibrosis. 17/7/23
  3. £50.00 Carrigans Voucher donation to Blantyre man Jimmy Small left at Blantyre Miners Welfare on 17/8/23 after he cleaned Dalbeth Memorial to 1877 Pit Disaster.
  4. £50.00 Carrigans Voucher donation to Blantyre woman Carly Anne Lang following a tough year out of work due to sudden health reasons. Meal for Carly Anne, partner Bryan & their small son. 17/8/23.
  5. £50.00 cash to Caitlin Hutchison who runs dance school for kids at High Blantyre Church hall and Blantyre Miners Welfare. Trying to keep costs down. Donated on 28/8/23.
  6. £50.00 Carrigans Voucher to Gillian Robertson, Asda worker, who after hours helped an elderly lady home with her shopping. Donated on 31/8/23
  7. £50.00 Donation online to Steve Younger, High Blantyre Baptist Minister who took part in Scotland’s Memory Walk 2023 around Strathclyde Park on Saturday 16th Sept 23 in aid of Alzheimer’s Scotland.
  8. £50.00 cash donation to Joseph Potts Macmillan Coffee Morning for Cancer support at Glasgow Road shop on Fri 22/9/23
  9. £400.00 cash (£250 on 22/9/23+ further £150 cash to ensure project goes ahead) towards new Permanent, bespoke £2k Display Cabinet at High Blantyre Cemetery (with 25 year lifespan) telling story of the pit disaster via Blantyre Miners Welfare.
  10. £50.00 Amazon order for Multiple Lest We Forget Fabric Banners and Cable Ties (for decorating Blantyre pedestrian railings on Remembrance) bought on 22/9/23.

  3. £80 raised for 2 Blantyre Community wreaths for the Pit Disaster Memorials (Sep 23)
  4. £80 raised for buying 2 Community wreaths for the Cenotaph ahead of remembrance (Oct 23)
  5. £240.32 restocking new copies of all Blantyre Project books in Blantyre library. (Jul 23)
  6. £50.00 for MacMillan Coffee Morning at CWA (workplace – Sep 23)
