Calderside Academy in Blantyre is initiating a prom dress swap shop and seeks donations of occasion wear dresses. Those wishing to contribute can drop off dresses at the school office by January 31st. For inquiries, please contact Mrs. Beattie at GW07BEATTIEJENNIFER@GLOW.SCH.UK.
The Parent Council of Calderside Academy have been awarded £500 from Earnock Residents Association towards books for a new Family Library at the school.

Well done to all the pupils at Calderside Academy, Blantyre who took part in recent fundraising. They managed to raise a staggering £16,603.69 for St Andrews Hospice through Ben Nevis and Tinto challenges last session. The next task is their 6K on the 22 September. Well done and good luck for the next one!
The Community Wish List has helped a Blantyre nursery get rid of excessive waste following a clean-up. Calderside Nursery Centre cleared out their garden and playrooms, and they appealed to the wish list to get the extra bags of rubbish removed.
