This weekend in Scotland brings chilly weather, with the first snowfall in the Grampians. Lanarkshire will experience breezy and cold conditions today, featuring variable clouds and occasional light showers. Tomorrow will remain chilly, with increasing clouds and heavy rain expected in the afternoon, followed by breezy conditions and lingering showers later.

Friday is shaping up to be warm and sunny. A fine, dry day in store, potentially the warmest of the year for Lanarkshire, especially towards afternoon and evening. Light breezes and temperatures up close to 20 degrees….and it should stay fine for the weekend too!
The weather pattern is changing over the next few days with a return to milder times. Still very cold tonight and tomorrow, but the weekend will turn much milder, wetter and windier. Some heavy rain expected on Saturday. Same on Sunday, but much winder with temperatures back up to a balmy 10 degrees.
Milder than it’s been in recent days, but rain is the main feature of the forecast. A very wet Saturday and Sunday for Blantyre and Lanarkshire with heavy rain staying around for much of the weekend. Not a great weekend to be out and about!
A mixed week of weather ahead, as current dry weather gives way to more rain. Next few days should remain fairly settled with temperatures during the daytime into double figures but a change is in store. More unsettled weather including rain is coming on Wednesday onwards. Temperatures remain average for the time of year.
A very warm week is forecast with a great deal of sunshine coming! The weather is looking pleasant and dry over the next week or so throughout Central Scotland, with temperatures up into the mid 20s. Still time to enjoy the last throws of summer.
