Groundbreaking Preparations for Airdrie’s Digital Net Zero Hospital
One million cubic metres of earth will be moved at Wester Moffat in Airdrie to prepare for the new University Hospital Monklands, opening in 2031. These preparatory works are part of NHS Lanarkshire’s Monklands Replacement Project. Approval of the Full Business Case is required before actual construction begins.
