Joe O’Neill, a 33-year-old from Leeds, is running from Celtic Park in Glasgow to Elland Road in Leeds to support Maggie’s charity, which offers free cancer support. His journey reflects personal memories with his late father and aims to raise awareness of cancer’s emotional toll while promoting Maggie’s valuable services.
Mark Roberts, a Royal Navy Marine, undertook the challenge of cycling from Joan O’Groats to Land’s End while hiking the UK’s highest peaks in memory of his partner Claire, who passed away before the event. Despite his loss, Mark raised over £10,000 for three charities, demonstrating resilience and purpose in his endeavor.
